Ruck to Rise exists to bring veterans, first responders, and our community together through movement and shared challenge.
Why We Exist
For many veterans and first responders, the hardest battles don’t end when the uniform comes off. The transition back to everyday life can bring isolation, loss of purpose, and silent struggles with mental health. Too often, those who spent their lives serving others feel like they have to carry those burdens alone.
Ruck to Rise exists to change that.
We believe healing and resilience grow through movement, shared hardship, and community. Rucking—walking with weight on your back—has long been a symbol of service, discipline, and perseverance. It reminds us that while life may place heavy loads on our shoulders, we don’t have to carry them alone.
Ruck to Rise brings veterans, first responders, and community members together to move with purpose, build meaningful connections, and support one another through life’s challenges. Each step, each mile, and each shared conversation helps break the isolation that so many experience.
Our mission is simple: create a place where people can show up as they are, carry the load together, and rise stronger—physically, mentally, and as a community.
